Welcome!

My name is Michael Seniuk (He/Him)

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, living and working in Santa Cruz, California. I am a husband, father, and lover of life in all of its mystery. You can often find me and my family roaming around the mountains, beaches and forests of this beautiful, diverse coastline we call home. I am passionate about all the ways of being and living that bring us into greater connection with ourself and all of life.

I trust that each and every person has an innate ability for healing, growth and transformation, and that part of the journey is learning how we can access and align with that healing nature inside of us. Sometimes we may find ourselves overwhelmed by the challenges in our life, but as hard as these experiences are, I believe they are opportunities for each one of us to grow. By honoring these hardships and initiations in our life in a ritual way, we are assisted by the ever flowing current of life, to walk through new thresholds, and discover ourself, and the world anew.

My approach to psychotherapy is informed by a variety of therapeutic modalities including humanistic, somatic, existential, and psychodynamic. My work is also inspired by traditional wisdom and healing traditions from around the world, as well as through my ongoing relationship with the natural world, the cycles, rhythms and healing that comes from connecting with the earth.
